Has anyone tried the 'fiber laser rust remover'? Have seen the ads and it looks useful for our hobby, or is it hype? The particular unit seen is a hand held compact unit from a Chino co. called Bogong, around $50. Looks great in the promo videos, probably too good to be true which is the reason for asking.
Scam, Those lasers with that amount of power to clean metal like that are $300K + and the power pack is the size of a mini fridge. Not too expensive for the defense or aircraft industry, but the home hobbyist ?
I think I recall a thread. Seems thee is a 99.99 version of a 300k machine? I believe consensus was the 99.99 machine was not worth wasting the money on.
