I can't explain it, it's kinda the opposite of what I typically go for, but this one just looks right to me.

Not often you see anything like this one

 

That was my car from 2000 till about 2004.
One pic pre-scallops, taken by Luke from Kustoms Illustrated.
The car was painted by HAMB member Chopt55bc

No, Brian bought it from me.

 

After I posted that and thought about it that is what I thought.
He and I used to set up at car shows. He would stripe and I would sell old car magazines.

 

WooHOO!! I finally got caught up to the end of the thread!! I was about 60 pages behind and took me a week or two to get caught up! LoL!
Well, here’s proof that King Kat was cruisin in the Lavender Lady! Too kool to be able to cruise around in that beauty! It even sounds like a...... kustom!

Wow, looks cool in orange, although I have to say, I prefer the purple.

@gonmad thanks for the encouragement that the Lavender Lady sounds like a kustom....I will forever laugh about a young Carson saying it sounds like an import. Classic!!!

 

Here's a good story about the "Royal Empress"...

It was reported that, while under construction, D'Agostino and Bill Reasoner were looking at the car, when Reasoner commented, "How about we take the fins off?"; to which D'Agostino replied, "I'll have to think about that."
"Well", said Reasoner, "while you're thinking about it, I'm going to do it!", and proceeded on the spot!

The results speak for themselves...
