Just got back home from trip to Kansas last week end, lots of cool cars in Salina for the KKOA event. What use to be a customs only event has turned into a world class event with not only customs but hot rods, street rods, rat rods, and a bunch of stuff inbetween...booked motel for next year already.
Large number of venders made the show nice too....and the drag races held at the old airport were fantastic....after driving around for half hour looking for the airport.
Salina police were cool too. It was party time in every motel parking lot..up into the wee hours of the morning
Thanks, I needed a kustom fix. Went to a local show this weekend and the whole time I was there I was pretending that I was back in Salina. One of the highlights of Salina was watching this Chopped Sedan kruizn around... Happy Trails, Mick
The extended cab with yellow wheels in the 1st set of pics is my ride. While the wagon with the primered front clip is my brothers. That was a great show as always!! Just sucked we had about 150 miles of hard rain to drive thru on the way there (but thats part of the fun). But was a very good weekend with about 900 miles clocked on my little truck!
