I figure since it is such an iconic car, and uses a relatively uncommon front axle set-up, a chassis photo would be useful. Anyone out there have a photo of the car sans body? Chassis/front end specifically?

^^^That's a start! Pictures of the front crossmember is really what I am after. I am curious if the frame was notched? Arched increased? How was the spring in front adapted to the '32 frame?
that is one bitchin car, a guy here in indiana used to own it. i walked up to it in the dark at a cruise nite one nite a few years ago, and about shit myself! wheres it at now? anybody?
Sold at auction a few years back, noted in an article in one of the rodding magazines. Mark VanBuskirk was the Indiana owner, pretty sure Dave Simard did the restoration.
Yes, it was restored by Dave Simard. I was at his shop in Leominster, Mass. a few times before and during the restoration. The roadster is a beauty to behold.
Normally channeled cars look out of proportion. This one is spot on. I drooled on it at Detroit Autorama one year.
