Hello All. Well I need to buy 4 new tires for my 29. Its running Chevy axles front and rear, typical 5 bolt 14", and the drums look like small Buick finned drums. OK so far. Well I had a set of Kelseys, power coated with almost new radials sitting going to waist, so i got a set of adaptors from Rally America, and they look great. Problem is a gap between the drum and wheel, and I remember hearing that the wheels will crack because of no support. Any suggestions, Ice man

Those should be supported at the hub, a simple steel ring of the appropriate thickness welded to the adapters should do the job.

Kelseys, you mean stock Ford wheels, the Kelseys that matter are the bent-spoke accessory wheels not the generic stock wheels made for the Ford production line.
    Will this silliness never end?
