I was in Modesto, Ca. a few years ago and stopped in on an old hot rodder. I bought a really neat hand formed track nose that his father made, a front drop axle his dad had dropped in 1960 and I found this dash laying in the dirt. I wish it was in a little better shape, but maybe someone remembers it? I am sure it is from a 1926-27 roadster, you can see in the picture of the back side where the dash was "carved" out for the guages and an aluminum skin was bolted to the orig. dash frame. Starting from the left is what looks like a 1932 Ford speedometer (34,398 miles), then an Amps guage (30-10-0), an Oil Temp. gauge (0-325), some kind of another speedo? Glass is cracked, goes to 60. Next three are Temp. (100-215), Oil Pressure (0-75) and a Gas Guage. The five Stewart Warner's have a bezel dia. of approx. 2 7/8". Any ideas ?? Thanks.
