I started a month ago and all I wanted to do is add more flake to my 64 Wagon's roof and Kandy it,First it was many layers of silver flake then Kandy Tangerine,then silver base w/Flake scallop,then Kandy Gold over silver in the middle of the roof and then, KandyPink mixed with Kandy Violet(purple) for the flames on the rear and scallops on the front over the silver base,then Kandy Gold over silver Lace panels and Kandy Gold scallops and then Purple with Purple flake reversed scallops in the gold scallops and then a Purple stripe with flake over the the Kandy Gold Panel with red pearl and now I'm laying down several more coats of klear to bury it.Its been fun.I'll post 3 pictures one with mostly gold and the second one with the purple,plus the rear of the roof.

That's totally sick and here I am whining about multiple masking on a two tone paint job. You've inspired me, I'm thinking about going hog wild on my '54 Chevy, I've gotta hide the pearl blotches with something. Remarkable work.
That is absolutely gorgeous! My car is in the shop to have the roof flaked, but I'm sure it will seem very boring after looking at these pics. Excellent job! CH
Yes more metal flake,Now one question.What would happen if we locked you in there for two months,or six months.That is awsome.Now do we have to wear sun block to look at your car on a sunny day i mean with all that metal flake there must be one heck of a glare.

I've got some pic's taken a few years ago,not with the new Kandy Red over black Lace on the sides and lower tailgate as well as the Kandy Gold scallops on the tailgate,The last pic was taken in front of the James Dean Memorial right outside of Paso Robles in 2001. These will have to do for now.
