Hey guys, well I just picked up an original 1934 Ford Pines Winterfront grille for my coupe. My first question is, how in the hell do you install it? Has anybody ever seen one mounted in a car, or an old picture of one mounted in a car? It looks like you remove the center grille bars and mount it inside just like a 1932 pines winter front grille. I am not sure. What do you guys think?

Mine is `32 but i believe the big difference besides the obvious shape is that it mounts on the outside of the stock grillbars, this is just based on what i`ve read elsewhere as i`ve never had a 33-34 pines myself. Does that seem correct?

Those are sooo ugly. And not in a "so ugly it's cool" sort of way.

It looks like it slips over the stock shell IMO.

It might seem like it, but it's the size of the grille insert bars.

There's a reason for that!! The original grill is so beautiful, why would anyone cover it up! Cool piece though Mike, I've never seen one before.

  13. On a 32 it replaces the original grill. Would that do it?

Ya I think I'll like it too! I didn't buy that one but did watch it on eBay! The one I have is the second one iv seen, that being the first. I'll have to put it up right with the stock grill to show everybody what I mean.

ive had 3 of those over the years and they fit right over the existing shell. the one shot of it in front of the grille on a car, the grille looks like it may be a 33??hard to tell. the winterfront you have appears to be kinda small. it's not a y - model winterfront ,is it??

It would be going on a 1934 grille. What is a y-model winter front?

Look on google images for Y model 1934, I bet that is what it's for as well.

The only winterfront I thought looked cool was for the 36 ford.

i have one of those winterfronts, unfortunetly thats a 33 winterfront and won't fit a 34 grill, 2 completely different grills, i'll post some
    pics later showing the difference.

    i'm yet to see a 34 pines.

Yep and a model Y is English and what the model 40 (allegedly) is based on, albeit a 3/4 scale version !!!
