this pic is small enough to be an avatar but it's all I got for now, and it looks way nicer in the pic than it really is, but it's a good driver, all stock 6 volt etc. I'll try to get some better pics at some point. It's a Special Sedanette. single carb small inline 8 motor.

Very nice. My parents had a 40 Buick when I was little. Love those straight eights.

thanks, not quite pebble beach, but thats ok, I want something I can drive and not worry about the paint etc too much. I'm gonna keep it pretty simple.

Nice score holmes...I had one too for a brief moment but sold it to a friend who wanted to get into cars. That was back in like 1993 and he hasnt touched it since he bought it. I'm trying to get it back now but have to wait a little longer...
You going to do it up like the "infamous" black & purple one??

Sweet, My dad traded his 41 Ford ragtop for one when I was probably a year old. It was the first car of his I can remember. He had it until I was five and traded it for a 51 Ford coupe.

    Nice ride.
Lee Pratt's was cool but I love almost all 1941 model cars. Very art deco year for automotive design. Keep us updated.

Lee Pratts '41 is bitchin, but I'm goin for a different look. It will be a very mild early custom with flipper caps, and skirts, lowered, but not on the ground. And I'll probably shave a few emblems, but I'll leave most of the stainless etc.

Cool, what are your plans for it? I'm building a '31 Model A Pickup with a '47 Buick Straight 8. Can't wait until you get more pictures.

Lee Pratt's 41 Buick is one of my favorite customs of all time, not because of what was done with it but because of what was not.

Gorgeous car, you'll do it right, no doubt in my mind.

hey Shortdog, that buick is pretty cool, along those lines but I'm gonna keep 16" rims on it, and run early style flippers with trim rings, and '40 ford skirts with the buick spears on them. That green coupe is a local sun valley lowrider, pretty nice car. Also, I used to have a '41 buick Special Coupe around '91 or so, and my wife has had a sedan, a chopped coupe and currently owns a Century Sedannette. So I guess we're pretty partial to them.
