Hi all, Just joined but have been lurking off and on for a while. I've got some questions about different 454 chevy engines. I'm Building a 52 2 door hard top studebaker and allready have a set of 51 front fenders and a 50 model bullet nose center for it and I'm goin with a big block chevy. My questions are: what is the difference in the different types? The one I have is out of a 85 Suburban and I'm being told that it has high flow rectangular port heads. Don't know if that is factory or not ? Plus I'm wondering what the differences are between a "truck motor and a... well not truck motor ? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Dean.
