Really my first post guys so go easy on me I am learning as I go. Thanks go to Chris at Salt Flats Speed Shop for a handful of e-mail replies getting me rough dimensions for my first pair of seats to be hand built. I will say they are not as easy to build as they look. All hand bucked rivets every 1/2". The .065" aluminum was found at local salvage yard for $ 40. All the rest...well they aint perfect but I am pleased for my first attempt. Didn't like the shine so lightly sand blasted them to give them a slightly different "industrial" look / feel. Now to learn how to upholstery a set of cushions.

643 Rivets per seat. (1286 total). That's why the professionals should get paid for their work.

Great job! Those rivets are an 'experience', every 5 I do I swear will be the last.
That many rivets (1286) you'd be finished with the nose and forward cabin if you were building a B25...

They look good. Never have sat in a "bomber" seat. Are they very comfortable?
