LOL! Same issue on my car but for those 1 or 2 guys willing to get their knees dirty, what a show! Great car, great build. I for one admire the attention, perhaps "obsessiveness" to detail you demonstrate. You are alright in my book.

Folks, this model A is nicer up close than it looks in the pics! I just got a “tour” of the car, it is outstanding. The owner/builder is a nice guy also.

Dave, it was great to see your car and to meet you at the washed out Speed Week in Wendover. I had not seen your car on the HAMB prior. Pictures can not do it justice. At the Nugget, it totally blew me away. It was the coolest, most unique Model A that I can remember ever seeing, and the most memorable car of the show. Hopefully, I will see it again some day, and be able to spend more time studying its finer points.

 

Thanks Joel! It was great talking with you also, it was a wash out but I did get out on the salt once before all the rain. It’s the longest trip (3450mi)I have done with the old girl and and I can say it never needed any wrenching on. You build these cars and at some point I guess you have to see if all your work and ideas can stand up to the the abuse of a long run.

 

We saw the car out at the Nugget on Friday. Its even more beautiful in person. I applaud you for driving it! Well done!

rsss396... Your car is spectacular! Just when you think you've seen all that can be done with a Model A you present this car. A+ on creativity, A+ on detail, and A+ on execution. Just got me thinking now how can I up my game. I'm not sure I can but I sure am inspired by your build!

 

Your Coupe is Stunning .... most likely the nicest Model A I've seen in 55+ years.

WOW! I missed this thread as well. This 'A' knocked it out of the park! Outstanding execution of great ideas! Hope to see it in person one day and yes I could look at it all day! This is one "old" thread that I'm happy to see brought back up. Kudos on a great build!

 

I somehow missed this thread so I am late to the “congrats” on a great build portion ! The car looks fantastic and I love the headlights - I have 36-37 Packard headlights on my 5-window but the 39 lenses really make them pop! Sweeeet!
