Man, that is one righteous ride!
I really like the look of those headlights!
I know it's a couple months away, but any chance you might make it up to K-zoo Michigan, for the Relix Riot, this August?
Would love to see this car in person!
Not quite, just another black model 'A' but an OUTSTANDING one at that. Less is MORE.
Yes I plan on going, I wanted to go last year right after I finished it but had a wedding to attend.
It would be great to meet up with some fellow H.A.M.B. members!
Wicked! Looking forward to it!
Nothing new with the car just some pics I took at the county fair grounds
Fascinating build. The dash light & ign. switch bezels look to be from a '55 Chevy?
Good eye! They are in fact from 55 chevys
One of my favorite parts is the use of 55-56 Pontiac gauges. They would have gone great in my car with it's Pontiac engine/trans.
Very nice job! Gary
It was a real challenge to fit those into the Stewart Warner case and bezels. Unfortunately SW never made dual gauges but I wanted something to match the speedo and tach.
I went to the Louisville NSRA over the past weekend, had a great time. even met a few guys that had seen my car on the HAMB! Hands down talking with all the different people was the best part of the show.
13,000 cars registered was a mad house but it was fun seeing all the other hot rods and venders.
Street Rodder Magazine gave me 1 of the 10 "Top100" awards (other 90 are given out at other shows across the country), not sure how they decided I was worthy since there were so many other great vehicles there to choose from, but a huge thank you to Street Rodder for appreciating all those weekends and long nights after work.
Did make a few changes to the car before going, I changed the factory valve covers to a set of Edmunds, along with changing to red cloth plug wires. I like the new look, with the factory covers and Offenhauser wire finned covers allot of people had no idea what kind of motor it was.
Congratulations!!!! It looks like the award is rightfully deserved and you have MUCH to be proud of! Thanks for sharing. It's a beauty!
Well deserved, I love this Model A
Congrats and well deserved Hamber......I'm actually surprised though because it is of course...
'Just another Model A' Not...
I'm not sure how they decided ???
Lol well you know some 32 owners don’t give A’s much credit but honestly guys with way nicer cars than mine have went out of there way to compliment the car. So it makes you feel like you did something right
One of the best looking hot rods I’ve seen in a looong time. Do you ever make it to the Valparaiso cruise night? I finally got back to day shift so I plan to hit some local cruise nights, maybe I’ll see you and the car at one.
You know, so much of my cars little details go unnoticed, my car looks pretty cool but I honestly don’t think it has a killer stance. It’s amazing how many people don’t even look at the back of the car let alone underneath it. You detail and clean the under carriage for maybe 1 or 2 guys to actually look. When I went to Kalamazoo last year the biggest compliment I got was when a guy was laying on his stomach underneath the car lol I was like finally somebody noticed all my hard work lol
Well thank you Scotty, yes I just got home from Crown Points and I plan on being at Valpo tomorrow, hope you can come out! Usually I am near the car wash area but I might be a little later getting there depending when the wife gets home
You sir have one badass model A coupe.
( I'm the guy who kept coming back all weekend and invited you to the Indy World of Wheels this winter)
Congrats on the Top 100 pick

Not sure if I’ll get back from South Bend in time To go tomorrow but next Friday for sure
Congratulations it was nice to talk to you in Louisville.
Sorry I talked with so many people so I do not remember our conversation but I know enjoyed talking with everyone!
I don’t know if I will make next Friday. I am planning on going to the Relix Riot at the Gilmore Museum in MI. Depends if we try to catch the Friday night cruise or if we just go up for Saturday
Ok yes I remember you very well, I enjoyed our conversations! Thinking very seriously about coming down to Indy next winter!
