    Sure brings back some great memories of another great racer.

    How and where did you find the car?

    So much history that should live on for others to enjoy.

    I found the car in Rock Springs WY The car was listed for sale I sent a pic to a friend he sent the pic to another friend That friend is the guru of vintage funny cars and nailed it. I was verry aware of Junior Thompson from the gasser era but not in the funny car era as soon as I was told who's car it was I was all over it!

    I started taking the rebellion off searching for any sign of Junior Thompson under it, I started with wet sanding with not much luck I could get a faint lay out but that was it, I hit it with a razor and wow!!! I think between both sides I can get a template to work with!! I started tracing it with a sharpie as it was coming through.

    Still looking for the original chassis with no luck if anyone has any good pics of a early 70's Ken Cox chassis would be cool!!!
