John Joyo did a really nice write-up about Dr. Dan's '55 in the June issue of Rod & Custom. The pics are great but this car really needs to be seen in person to get the full effect of Hot Dog's art (it's way to cool to just call it paint).
That is one of the Coolest cars around... Pictures don't do it justice. The interior is awesome, the paint is flawless, and it sits perfect. Another great job by Austin Speed Shop

i like everything about that car except for the TRON inspired interior. that's what it looks like to me. everything is very cool.
I thought I was the only one that doesnt dig the interior on that car. Reminds me of Darth Vader. Absolutely love the rest of the car!
That car flat out rules. The photos in R&C are fantastic, taken by John Jackson of course. On the way back to the shop from that photoshoot I remember pulling up to a stoplight next to a van full of kids and they all freaked out, so I dumped the back end and the mom who was driving the van says "Yeah baby" as we left the light. It was awesome.
It's always nice to be able to shoot a car off of my bucket list I was honored for the opportunity.......sorry my pics didn't do it justice it is certainly a car you have to see in person
