Hey guys, looking for some help. I'm rebuilding a couple of rear Henry stepped wheel cylinders using Raybestos wheel cylinder kits from Macs. the kits included new springs cups and outer dust caps, but didn't include the metal seal expander cups. I was able to reuse the ones from one of the wheel cylinders but the other ones from the second cylinder are unusable. I have several other used wheel cylinders in my back shed, but after taking them all apart, most of them are missing those steel expander cups altogether or there rotted and useless. does anyone have a source for those metal seal expander cups or is it safe to run without them?
funny.....we missed out on a 50 yr old parts house due to one person's ego's.....among the trash on the floor from the scrappers paid to clean the place out - was some old Moog wheel cylinder kits.....they had the metal part that's missing from the later kits....try ebay for those early kits.....
