    Well,

Johns picnic is 10 days away... for the aussies and kiwis that venture there they will know what I'm talking about. I'm sitting here enjoying a vino, thinking about what has to be done in those 240 hours until it starts.

I ( stupidly of course [IMG]) pulled my roadster to pieces on the weekend to fix the shock set up on the rear and "C" the chassis so I can drive it as low as I like it without hearing that bowel dropping crunch when I go over a bump.

I have Psychos roadster in my garage recouperating after a lease of life ( re ringing) and awaiting patiently its 2x2 transplant surgery. However the bloody thing seems to have developed a lurgy.

I get the bloody thing puring like a kitten one day and the next it wont start! Hell if I didnt know better I would think my wife had a remote , or its female and it teasing me as I am spending time with other automotive pursuits [IMG]

Then Drewfus and a couple of others are patiently waiting for their Thickstun aircleaners I well and truely promise them, which are 95% finished.

My mate who is new to rodding wants to get started on his A model which his chassis seems to have taken up residence in my garage ( but he is going to have to wait at least a month) until we start his project.

I also want to change the look on my ride ( enigine bay) before Johns to make it different.

And last but not least, I have brootal flying in on the friday expecting to be picked up at the airport in the roadster!!

Hell...and my new job has me there at least 10 hours a day. I sleep 5 so that leave me 9 hours in a working day ( minus travel) to get this all done. bitch whinge moan and complain.

    but want to know something???

I wouldnt have it any other way!

    God I love hotroddding! [IMG]

    EEEEEEP!

    Lower 32 sounds nice flatoz!

Psychoboi was over tonight...Got the Kardinals Plaques in from Truckers O'brien, and the damn things are gorgeous!!!
So have to get a bunch ready to be mounted up before the Picnic.

Chix...thay stuff up everything , man!

Looking forward to what your doing to the rod's enginbay, (a bit late to start you crazy dude!)

    Brootal!..Gotta meet the man!

Spent the weekend ( ok sunday) helping Zac get his "54 pontiac convert, a mite closer to RWC and to the Picnic.
Slotted in the 54 Chevy grille..and bit more work and It'll be set...running out of time for the RWC but we'll see!

If you know a 'good' RWC place give dan a call as Zac has tomorrow off and could call them!

Then it's just a quickie paint job, lowering and putting all the fresh chrome back on, and the Kardinals will have a cruiser for the day.

Off to 'lowsquires' place this friday/saturday to help on the '30 RPU. Supposed to fire the baby up this weekend...will have to take camera!!

    See you soon !

  12. wishing I was there, each year I say definately next year......its only a matter of time.

As for all these other guy's and their cars, you'll make it happen, don't have a stress on my stuff, it can arrive when it arrives.

Similarly, don't worry about the 'rod rider' needing a ride in the roadster, he's used to riding in a merc......(bus) [IMG] [IMG].

    Cheers,

    Drewfus

Hopefully I will have the F100 back on the road. The front will be in primer and the '56 grille won't be finished.
Mainly bringing it so I can bring my big table to display my striping stuff.
At this stage the coupe can stay home in the garage.
That would be right Boris is alway bumming rides in hot rods! Ah he's alright for a diplaced sandgroper! [IMG] [IMG]
Yeah I would like to meet some of you guys that I know only by HAMB names on here. I look forward to it. Geoff aka Whodaky
