I thought he was a good one. His little 4cyl powered T was awesome and he was always helpful to me. Wished I would have met him in person. Have a blast wherever you are!

 

I'm glad to say he was a good friend of mine.

Helpful guy here on the HAMB. Had a pretty long racing history, and his posts on some of that tech, especially suspension and torsion bars, are just as pertinent today as they were then.

He posted as SJFast for quite a long while, and I always read his stuff as it was clear and concise. Wish I'd known him.

 

Yup, what they said. He ran in the same Sprint Car circles as my dad in the early 70s. We had many good conversations and he even found a shot of dad in his collection. That 4 banger Mod he had came from out here in the Black Hills, sadly he did not have time to stop and have a cup of coffee so we never met in person.

 

I learned a lot from him.
