Is anyone out there using one of those fancy Joe Hunt magneto looking distributors on a ford flathead. How well do they work? How reliable? blah blah blah. All opinions welcome. Thanks.

I've built 2 roadsters using this unit in a flathead and they have worked perfectly. As for longevity they are still running after a couple of years with no problems.

Thanks Krylon, By the way did you use the prescribed diode between the ballast resistor and the solenoid? I am using a ford 12v solenoid and there is no r terminal.
