Event Coverage Jalopy Showdown drags at Beaver Springs

We had a really fun day racing our Altered at the Jalopy showdown drags, got to meet some fellow HAMB guys, we made the semi finals , ran 9.60's all day and did not break a thing. Big thanks to Scary Larry and Beaver Bob for putting an event that is about the most fun you can have with your hot rod

We were there yesterday. I saw a LOT of picture taking going on. I am sure some will surface somewhere if not here.

 

I was too busy racing, my daughter in law took this one. I will post the rest as soon as she sends them to me

Really appreciate the effort the track and promoter put into this show.
The whole family enjoys it. Although I think the kids like the ice cream truck the best.

 

That Metropolitan "cop car' would be just enough inspiration for someone to try and outrun the law.
