What are the times for the rescheduled Jalopy Jamboree at Ralp's Saturday? Vent: The jamboree is one of my favorite shows, but why do the Alterboys cancel it at first site of a raindrop? I have driven up both this year and last year only to find it canceled. I have a roadster with no top and no heat, but tackling the elements is have the fun. The planned music gets out of sinc, just don't get it.
As far as I know it's same time, same place just a week later. As far as cancelling at the first drop, I don't know about your house but at mine it poured about five hours straight and then rained the rest of the day. I was not looking forward to a five hour drive in those conditions, so I'm glad it was moved. Hopefully this weekend's weather will be better, and besides after your there for about 10 minutes you will forget all about last week.
I agree I will have tons of fun on the rain date. Just gets frustrating driving up every year to an empty lot, grabbing a couple of burgers, drinking some beer, playing some pool, and driving home. Hey, that's not so bad!
I heard that is was posted on HAMB after I got home. Actually, that is why I joined; to get the latest news like that. Some of the best events I have been to have been "highlighted" by bad weather.
