Event Coverage Jackson Bunny Run (April 15-16, 2016)

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Montana1, Nov 20, 2015.

  1. Going to the Bunny Run in Jackson TN. this year on April 15-16, 2016.

Held at Jackson Fairgrounds Park, just south of town on HWY 45 (can't miss it).
300-400 pre '72 cars, good swap meet and new vendors indoors.

Very nice show! I'll be there a few days early - MONTANA

I talked to Dan Jackson (Pres. of Jackson Rod and Custom) the other day and he said he would have his guy put the details up on their web site.

  3. Been years since I have been to the Bunny Run and I know I won't be there this year but I plan on going again,I always had a good time. HRP

  4. Used to go when I lived closer, and honestly found it disappointing. Lots of billet and other non-trad stuff.
Swap meet was mostly billet vendors. 5-6 years ago.

Wrote it off. Maybe things have improved.

And you're coming from Colorado just for that, or going to be in the area? Your sedan will be a standout.

  5. Yeah, been going there for 20 yrs. or so. New vendors are indoors and swap meet is outside now. It ain't billet proof, but they do like and accept traditional cars too. I told Dan I would post it for you guys. Thanks.

  6. Reminder, 1 month out.

  7. OK... About a week and a half.
    April 15-16, 2016.
    Hope to see you there!

  8. This week end guys!

  9. Please post some pics.
I'm curious to see what was there.

Yep, the Kiwis were there a couple of years ago ,got the T shirt my wife got the Bunny run hat etc .A neat little event, the swap meet outside was pretty low key but interesting none the less. At least inside it was a bit warmer and the vendors were worth a visit. We found the drive to Jackson interesting through the countryside. Would we go back , heck yes.

  14. It was a great show! Weather was perfect low 70's and sunny. About 327 cars. Here are a few pics...
