I just picked up a new car with a It's a Snap wiring Harness.
Anyone got a manual they can scan & email me?
I'm trying to do a little troubleshooting.

I used one of their kits once. PITA, instructions sucked, and their tech support was horrible.

The last kit I used was from Rebel Wire. Great instructions and tech support was very helpful and friendly

Actually, the manual isn't really needed. That's why they call it that. It's a snap!

Seriously, I've been wiring cars since 1955...(from scratch) You can imagine how crushed I felt when Ron Francis went public and uncovered all my secrets! (grin)

Rebel is my favorite, I only wire from scratch if I'm doing a 'special vintage' or old time race car.
I used a 'Painless' kit in a friend's F100. 'Painless.' Well named. It reminded me of getting teeth pulled.

A great thing has been the introduction of relays; The better kits educate as well as guide you through. Guys who have followed the directions, read the footnotes, even called for support have learned volumes about the dark world of electricity.

Ironicallly, when a product has a name like "It's a snap" or "E-Z" they usually aren't a snap or easy to use. We used a Painless one time and it was so much harder than an American Autowire or Rebel, especially to try to decipher the instructions.
