It might be gone, but it's a free '51 flathead in SC

  2. We got a bunch of Hambers that live near Moncks Corner. HRP
    1951 Plymouth motor (Moncks corner )

    To use on your on classic car some electric parts I have the transmission as well
    Other parts the motor it self would need work the pistons are stuck from siting
    I'm bot a new small block chevy motor for the car so dont need the flathead 6

    Whether it was any good to someone, I don't know, but it's definitely gone now.

    I dont know why but its hard to even give those darn things away. They're good motors; can't hardly kill them if you try. I've had about 10 old Dodges and Plymouths with that flathead six and had trouble getting rid of even the decent running motors. I just sold a 51 model 218 flathead that ran good, just needed a carb rebuild, for $75. It sat on Craigslist for six months on and off before someone bought it.
