I have tried repeatedly to reach Bubba about getting a dizzy for my flattie. No replies to emails, and his phone number on the website doesn't work. Any way of reaching him or is he out of business? ~Rick
Try replying to one of his threads, worked for me this morning! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/help-ignition-coil-questions.439044/
Yep still here ! We closed our injection shop after 24 years of business , Bubbas is still doing ignition in the same building as before. Our phone number 317-487-9460 is the same we have had forever......other numbers on system as well as our injection 888-809 number no longer works. Our message on answering machine instructs caller to either leave message OR email [email protected] I have a girl that retrives all messages daily and sends ignition stuff to me in a email that i answer two to three times each day. Or you can leave a number and i will call you back...... However i seldom personally answer the phone. My typical day is to recieve 4-5 orders and ship 2-3 to customer...so i am usually behind 20-30 orders.... The process is that all incoming orders/repairs are put in a computer as a repair order, then repaired/built and returned to customer. So if i have your unit it is in the line somewhere.. Build time is depending on needs for machining, rebuilding as well as parts needed . May get done in a week and may take longer . Ex: I just had lunch with my machine shop guy and he has had some new flathead cores to be machined for two weeks and he said he would finish this weekend ( maybe) to deliever to me monday. Sometimes thats just the way it is and other times i get one day service... We are still getting them done as fast as we can...........
Yes , its the friday evening of goodguys.... June 5th Bubbas Spam a Rama.........sponsored by Bourbon and Barbque this year.....
YEP PUNKIN HOLLER BOYS ARE BOOKED.....I WENT TO SEE THEM LAST FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE MELODY INN ON ILLINOIS STREET.......
Yep and spiked watermelons ......that my job......rbg :>) I think i have a lifetime contract with Tom....
No we started using a new core first of year , saves us the cleanup etc ......last cores i bought were in pretty bad shape . To date we have shipped 1012 of that conversion......
Tell me it's not true on the exchange program you had. I just collected enough stock distributors for an exchange x 2.
Just got my converted Crab back from Bubba on Friday. Put it on Saturday and it runs sweet! Nice work. Thanks Bubba.
Wish I was closer, bourbon is one of my favorite sponsors. Jim, in post #8 you mention "the 888-809 number no longer works." Is this the same number in your sig.? Might be the cause of some problems.....
Kinda depends on the distributor and how clean they are . Good clean early ford helmet and crabs are still needed ....
At one time you wanted SBC distributors and had a 4 for 1 8ba offer - do you no longer want the SBC cores?
We no longer use the old delco core ....We now use a new delco core , saves the clean up time etc. Sorry.
