INSANE SCORE at estate sale!!!

  1. So, my wife and I hit up a lot of garage sales, flea markets, and such almost every weekend. I was drawn to an estate sale on Saturday from the ad which, among many other items, had listed "tools, garage equipment, old race cars and parts" so naturally, we were among the first folks there. I made an offer on the entire lot a second after seeing it, and for a total of $1200, I think I hit the mother lode!

Did Elvis and Liberace take the day off to help you hit the garage sales?

I think you really lucked out if the story is real.

I will make a long story short and tell you about what a friend of fell into.

He runs a UHaul dealer ship and a guy walks in to get a truck and a car dolly.

He really helped out this guy the best he could and he saved the guy a lot of money and the guy asks him if he would like to purchase his mothers double wide mobile home.

He explains that he is taking her back up north to live with him and his wife.

My friend asks him how much he wants and his answer was $862.00 dollars.

My friend asks me if I would take a fast 10 minute ride over with him to look at it.

In my mind I was picturing what it might look like for $862.00 dollars.

The home was in great condition being she was the original owner and had lived there by herself for 15 years. I had a remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, new windows, carpets and was fully furnished and they even left the plates and forks and the frig. full of food.

When we looked in the shed there was a lawnmower, tools and all kinds of lawn furniture all in great condition.

Here in Florida it is very common when a love one dies that the family up north just wants to get rid of everything including the cars and trucks.

My friend rented the home out and after finding a nice tenant agreed to sell the home to them for $10,000 dollars.

I guess somedays you just get lucky.
