My 15 yr old nephew calls me yesterday to tell me he is looking at a car. This is the kid who a few years back broke the frame of his go-cart one day while I was at my dads shop.He pulled it in,clamped it,welded it,and went back to hammering thru the mud.Well,it happens to be a 49 chev!!I guess he's watching his uncle more than I realized! He has the skill to do it for sure.If he does get it I'll just guide him when necessary.I,m going to look at it with him a.s.a.p..Another one gets the bug,I'm sooo proud!
Hehe, nice! I'm the only one at my school thats into them...some think its cool but nobody knows anything about them. I've never even driven my 55 to school, everyone just knows about it cause its all I think and talk about. I have however driven our 53 desoto to school once...but now its all apart Not many of use youngsters around here, and its pretty cool when someone aroumd my age starts into this stuff.
Teach him well little grasshopper . Thats cool JT, another kool ride around the area. Are you gonna get him to join here? later plmczy
Plm,there was no "drama" scene when I started into this.I'll let him do some some stuff on his own and find his own style before he finds himself here.
Well JT if you can teach him how to get his girlfriend to work on it with him, ala his unc, then you can be REALLY proud! BY the way, cruise nights have started back up in EL Cajon, just in case you need an excuse to get back out this way...
