You just don't see that many woodies...
Id use a low satin clear on that tree,Just to give the tree a patina look .........Restored trees are coool
i like the chevy van better
Make a good winter project! by the time you get it home , you'll be able to heat the shop all winter
My kids would LOVE that "tree house". Hell, so would I!
Well it looks like th bed wood is still solid.
I have yet to own an AD truck, my little brother had one that he owned and drove for a couple of decades. There was also one that cruised locally when I was in high school that really floated my boat. If I had that one and could build it I could pay tribute to two vehicles in one build.
OK a little known fact, you can bolt one of those in a '62 Chassis (long narrow box chassis). Pretty simple upgrade.
used to be a guy up on Route 80 who had a Crosley 20 feet up in a tree. Went by one day and it was gone...Im guessing the bureaucrats ruined a great piece of art.
Rick, is that where the term "Wood paneling" came from? Yeah I know it's a delivery but.......
Who can blame the guy he's just a shade tree mechanic.
Yea, but the owner hardly slept at all for the first 25 years.....
I got a few more projects to do before I get to this one. HRP
Poverty you have high hopes..
Seems like that tree is older than the license plate
trees eating cars
*right click.. save*
Shit, ....that'll buff out.....all you've got to do is cut away the tree......and it's a 5-window to boot!
I want it too, Larry.....
wonder if a guy could get enough boards out of that tree to do the bed wood with. they should have parked it over an oak tree.
Maybe he's gonna make a woody out of it one of these days and he's growing his own.
He is waitin for the tree to get big enough so he has enough lumber for the bed floor!
There was a car dealer in Kansas that had one for sale like that. He had just cut the tree off under the truck and had the whole thing for sale.
Gives new meaning to "laying down some roots" before you restore your truck.
This is my front yard (last winter). I'm not going to fix it,ever. That truck is pretty damn cool.
This 4 door sedan with the tree growing out and snow covered looks like the headlights are on! Kind of creepy, might be Christens grandpa.
I just went out and planted a tree....Guess where.
Paul....cool pic, maybe you can go back in the spring and fall to get pics with the leafs on the tree, be neat to see. Do you think that one would buff out like your last one?
I see two chops in that truck's future.
The lights are on,,small Christmas lights. HRP
gonna restore it someday......
