This is truly an outstanding testimony to the craftmanship that some of us have and that most of us wish we had 1/10th the ability: http://deathby1000papercuts.com/200...air-and-p51-mustang-aluminum-model-airplanes/ I just cannot imagine the skill nor the patience it would take to construct these works of art!
Seen this a few months ago on an RC scale plane forum I frequent. Guy is a retired dentist and is just amazing!!
Tha guy is simply crazy good at what he does. I would just go crazy and need to confined to a padded room.
Geez...I'm 13 years into my dental career and can't imaging spending retirement staring at even more tiny shit for hours and hours!
Think about what it took to imagine a project like this. Then imagine getting started and finding exactly what it's going to take to finish it. after all of this imagine actually seeing it to conclusion. Way beyond my abilities for sure. My hat is off to the builder. Frank
I remember reading about this guy in our local paper a few years ago. That is a whole other kind of brain there!
If you guys want to see some of the model engines go to the museum. The guys that make those engines are on there. I spent an hour going through some of the pics on there. click on the name of the guys pictured and you will see what they have made. It's really interesting. Larry
WOW that is crazy! I dont have that much paitents. It would be float tested after 30 min of messing with it! haha
