Absolutely definitely Saab station wagon. Do not remember name/number of that Model. Real Saabs were 3-cylinder 2 stokes...I think some late versions of this model were sold with someone else's 4 stroke motors...Taunus V-4?? That part of my mind rusted out... Had a friend with a Saab Supersport...3 cylinders with 3 carbs...bolted to the crankcase! You cannot make up anything as weird as Saab.
found out made from 1960 to 71 thanks all for the info, now i can bet my brother and win the bet this time
I think that is the later with a V-4. Actually pretty good cars.they also made sports car and airplanes.
Ford design from 62, still around in industrial apps, welders gennys, pumps. In the SAab it replaced the 2 stroke 3cyl 850 CC engine. Was backed by a column shifted 4 speed. Tough and light cars that did well in international rallys powered by either engine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE-aFKLcxmE
I like SAABs (properly spelled all in caps, BTW, as SAAB is an acronym). Damn near owned a '65 95 coupe in the late '70s. A neighbor had his for sale, and I wanted something that would get a bit of mileage...back when gas was a whopping 61 cents a gallon! Dad said "no", since neither he nor I knew shit about SAABs. Probably the smart thing to do at 17.
