I don't understand the thinking behind the ad. If you're selling a chassis post pictures of the chassis, if you're keeping the body why even post a picture of it. It just muddys things up.

Another old hot rod survivor parted out. That's a shame in my book. Take off the VW turn signals, put the Deuce shell back on there and some running boards, that's actually a damn good looking car.

Don't know why you guys don't like it or want to see it separated.

Anyone know ehat the steering wheel is? I am trying to ID the steering box...it is a Gemmer III, but was possibly a cross steer box?

Interesting car. I wouldn't part it out...I'd just reassemble the parts a little differently.

Neal, by gemmer I assume Hudson? Is that correct? I have read that those boxes are cross steer except the 37? Also, do you have any idea if the Hudson Spline on the shaft would match the 51 Chrysler wheel.

  15. Gemmer was also used in Fords, like F-1 and F-100's

Thanks Chris...did you buy the chassis? If so, can you post some more pics of the steering box? I bet we could make that work in your 34 roadster...
