I thought I was pretty good at identifying old cars and parts, but I came across this cool grille that I have some plans for,but its driven me sane cause I dont know what it is.I looked on E-WORLD cause everyone knows if its out there its on there--right?Wrong I cant find anything exactly like it.I muttered several things to myself, like looks like a 40 deluxe grille, but it aint that, then I went for 37 Lincoln, dont think so,now Im just muttering things like what the ;'[;]1# is this thing? All I can tell you is it came from an old home made looking custom,a,friend had.Can anyone out there in Hamberville cure my ills here?Ill be in the corner muttering to myself!Let the HAMB GODS speak!

I'd venture late 30's DeSoto or Chrysler Imperial...however, that's just a guess on my part...looks can be deceiving.

Yea, I'm gonna second the late 30's Chrysler vote. Probaly 37-38 Chrysler. Try Carnut, they may have a pic.

Late '30's International truck is probably a good guess, doesn't look like a passenger grill.

Guys,I really appreciate all the work on your parts about this thing.I know its got to be something simple, but what the :<>"!* is it? It cant be all that rare, but yet I cant seem to find anything, just like it.The car it came off of was in a deep ditch, really rough and looked really wierd, kinda like a Johnny Cash car, like he sang about in that song of his!It looked like it might of had a carson style top at one time and it did have the door tops cut down in the area, you would lay your arm on.Wish that old car could Talk!Betcha that would be a cool story. Thanks for all your help and if anyone reads this and has any ideal of what it is-pleeeeeeze let me know.
