Looks good Scott, I like the pillars leaning forward. Based on your other work, this is gonna be a killer ride when your done.
let's see we have about 45 days to Mass, you better get going. LoL
Here are the latest pics of the chop. I have been working on the window openings and Josh started shaping the sail panels.
One of the guys that works for me ( Josh) fixed up up a photo of my chevy.
Scott maybe if you put up a thread "Whats this barn find Econoline worth"
this thread would have 6,000 views and be about 10 pages of replies. Welcome to the HAMB! Bunch of yabrow's
Seriously you guys at the shop do awesome fab and forming work keep it up home boy!
slanty posts is a way better look in my book.
looks good dude! i like the pillars forward too. you needed to do something for yourself. cant wait to see it done!!
Ok here is the latest the chop is getting close to done. Last week end I shaved the gas door and this weekend I welded in the pieces we hammer formed for the back of the quarter glass opening. I hope by next weekend I should have it close enough to feel good about starting on the chassis.
Scott....the chop turned out perfect, just as expected. Those sail panels are SEXY!!
I've got something to drop by the shop for that little project...looking forward to seeing the car in person.
come on by any time.
That looks killer man. Amazing job!
WOW!! Cleeeaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn!! I love it great work..... as usual!!!
What the hell - how did I miss this?
I was even at your shop and failed to notice??
I swear, I must be getting Alzheimers
I'll pretend I was just caught up in the 36 project
Top is looking groovy and it is great you are building something for yourself
Josh's metal shaping skills are blowing my mind, damn
Nice job on the sail panels! nothing worse looking than that flat spot from a 3/4 view.
I pushed my car out side today and took some pics
Bitchin chop!! perfect for a coupe, not too much, not too little, just right. cant wait to see it done
well I decideded to take a little brake from sheet metal work and start on the chassis last week end. We got the front clip in all air baged and got the c-notch in. It was a long weekend but I feel good about the progress. I had not looked at the chop at ride height untill this weekend. It look so much better...Duh.. But this week end I will be starting on the four bar and may be have a roller.
Looks great !! What a great feeling right??
Always look forward to see your stuff!!
Ok here is the latest on Sunday I brought in a couple pros to help me get a little farther along. So Dave Hitch and Alex Gambino came over and we nocked out a ton of stuff on my list. The chassis was a roller on Saterday and by Sunday night it was all plummed and mounted to my body plus a ton of outher little shit. But the kicked ass and handled a ton of shit. So thanks guys.
