Thanks so much for all the info. And thanks also to tierod who also sent me loads of names by MP. Thanks to you guys, I've found all the info I need on cars #2, 3, 6, 8, 9. I've got the names of the owners of cars #4, 5, 7 but more info on these 3 cars would be great (or contact information). I've still got no info on #1 and 10.
Lon Wren's '28/29 roadster is channelled over a 2" X 4" tube frame with high suicide mount in front and about 8" of kickup in the rear. '49 Merc rear axle, T-5 transmission, Y-Block with 6 X 2 Holley 94s. Modified Tri Five Chevy steering gear with custom aluminum pitman arm, drilled and sleeved radius rods, drilled dropped Super Bell and more holes in the backing plates than any other car in the country. #6 is Jim Lanning's roadster....the coupe in flames right beside it in the pic is Mike Lanning's.... the roadster was at the rumble too....If you need any info on the car I would be glad to help...
