Customs I D this aftermarket valve cover what motor

I got this random aftermarket valve cover in a box at a auction anyone know what it's for I'm thinking it may be foreign any ideas?

 

"Super Vee" suggests it is for Volkswagen, the shape suggests it is for a Rabbit OHC inline 4 probably from the late 70s by the look of it.

 

Volkswagen Rabbit, Golf, Jetta, etc

 

I think SCCA went to the watercooled engines in 1978
