I don't know if it will be a problem geting to Cobo hall or not.
I seen the sign on I-75 down by Toledo telling people to use US 23 .
Can someone closer to the shut down please check this out for us.

im going to come into downtown detroit a different way..back roads..very hard for me to explane on here , i lived in the city for a long enough time in my youth and have worked many years in it so i have my ways around. I would really suggest getting off the e-way near the Marathon Oil refinery (Schaffer) and taking Fort street into down town..and from there go to the Arena..just my way around the mess

  3. I agree with that. That's how I went last year and will again this year.

  4. Thanks for the heads up, I just checked my route and it won't be a problem for me?!?

I'm traveling East on I94 and then downtown...

It only effects the folks coming up I-75 from the south like Ohio.

Anyone coming from the airport will take I-94 east and is in no way effected.

The route jog from VonRiggFink is right on the money and you're not going out of your way and will probably only add a couple of minutes to the drive time because your on a surface street instead of the freeway.......just lock your door:eek:;)....kidding, you'll be fine:D

PERFECT, and anyone else coming from the west can do that as well. The I75 closure is only going to effect the folks coming from the south up I75.
