i figure if i do it, its gonna be a radical chop...5inch min....can you do that with wraparound glass? or do you need to have the 150's semi flat glass roof?

You can use the wrap around glass, but it will need to be sunk in the package tray..
Or, you can use a rear window from another car all together and fabricate the filler pieces to make it work. I used a shoebox ford backlite in my 53, but there's a lot of cars that have a window that will work. For instance, a 49-52 chevy rear window would probably work real well.

Cole Foster's '54 Chevy Belair has one of the coolest chop's on a hardtop that I've ever seen. He used the original roof but replaced the rear window with glass from a Plymouth or Chrysler, I can't remember the exact year.

Check out Collector Car Trader Online web site. There is a chopped '53 or '54
Chevy 4 door for sale in California. He might be able to help you.
