Hydro gurus..I need help please

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 66Newport, Nov 5, 2009.

  1. I have hydros on the rear of my Newport and it won't lift all of a sudden. I checked my batteries (they are good), replaced both solenoids (so I know they are good). What gives? When I go to lift it, it just clicks really fast. Could it be my dump? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
  2. Bump for the night crowd? Can anyone help?

clicking means low power ur soliniods are opening and closing... make sure u have over 12v per battery. and the switch wire is on the "s" side of the noid........if ur lost still pm me
  4. Thanks FatDaddy, I will check that out.

  5. I am reaching out again. I can't get my hydraulics to work. I have checked the solenoids, checked the batteries, and still no lift. When I hit the switch to raise the car, all I get is clicking. But this isn't normal slow clicking (like a low battery or bad solenoid), it is very fast. Any ideas, any help? PLEASE!
