6 cyl engine is a pretty generic 1930s L head with 245ci and 101 hp. The 8 cyl shown below simple has a couple more cylinders and is a 302 with 125hp. These were no lightweights - the crank on the 6 alone weighs 135 lbs - ask me how I know....
Of course the advertising was in no way misleading what with the factory chop, widening and lengthening....
