I wuz hopin' to make my first "Pile", but alas and alack, it's not to be. Three other events that day; the most impotant being an auction. They're selling out an old friend that has Alzhiemers, and I need to be there for many reasons. I'll miss the pasties, fer shur,and the coffee and pastries, too... Most of all, I'll miss the people of the HAMB. I'll try hard to make the Rust Revival- if Breeder has his corn and beans out by then... Be nice to the Studlybaker.

I am driving my own car 1st time this year too, Denise! Junior Stock is 'thinking about making the trip now. Do you have something I can polish for you?

My brother and I will be there for the 2nd year, no car again. Next year the 31 tudor should be done.

The EFI won't matter as long as you keep the hood closed. As for the rest of the truck, I can't really see wheels, gauges, etc, so if you want to PM me some details, I can give you a better answer.

 

I guess that would depend on what kind of chromed spoke wheels you're talking about... 53 Skylark rims, yes... 13" 100 spokes, no.

 

your typical chrome spoke american racing rims, like tru-spokes back from the 80's.

 

Ok so I just bought two new kick ass t shirts for Pileup weekend

one is my new signature "The Brains behind the Operation and the Boobs in front of it" I will probably wear that one to the actual show on Saturday thanks to Thirtyfivepickup for his never ending wit. He came up with that one.

and then "Got DW?" probably for Friday night.

 

I am driving up on Friday from the Springfield Mo area solo if some one wants to hook up let me know.

I'll be there in my '52 chevy chopped and dropped, flat black w/candy green flames. and if anybody want's to know, the friday night cuise is not to be missed. Downtown cuisin like it used to be.

 

We'll just call it a practice round till the three of us are together again.

 

I guess that practice makes perfect. This will be my first time(at the pileup) so be gentle.
