Don said "Grab a helmet!" Really? I've long been a fan of his Willys, but I never thought I'd get a thrill ride down the track. It was every bit as awesome as you can imagine!

when i saw this car at wow i didnt think it would ever see track time,,,, cudos to this guy for racing it,,, THE CAR IS BEUTIFULL!

 

Guilty as charged on that statement Vic, I think you and I thought that was not a car for the track, wicked gasser indeed!

That black 57 Ford... WOW !! From now on when I tell someone
something is straight as an arrow, I'm going to say "Straight as that black 57".
An arrow isn't as straight as that car. LOL

If anyone has a picture of the white 57 Ford (mine) that was taken at
the strip. I was parked in the Melt Down pits. Could you please post it
or email it to me? Just as long as its in the shot, I just want proof
that I actually had it there.

how many days until the next hunnert car heads up. i can't wait until next year. a must attend show.

 

I heard there is an article in the new Ol Skool Rodz but I have not see it yet.

 

it would be cool to get the melt down and the heads up and the cordova races into a points circuit. i think attendance would improve at all the races if there was something to race for. think of the possibilities.

 

I haven't seen the article yet either, but I did post the cover on our Heads Up Facebook page.
