WOW! There is a bunch of them. I wonder about the funky windows on one side of the 58 Chevy sedan delivery, somebody's idea of customization or what? And look at all those 50's Ford convertibles.
I saw this mentioned online some where else, maybe facebook? there are videos on youtube of the cars and a little more info. If i come across it ill post a link but im sure searching using the auction info on youtube will bring it up
looks like there is one on the website linked in the first post, i feel like i saw more then one video though
That's nothing... They're auctioning off another collection in September, former old time a chevy dealer. Can you say NOS cars?
Can you believe there is some tool on the link that calls 'most of them junkers!' I wonder what perfect world he is from!! Doc.
Thanks, I was puzzled over why someone would do this. It makes sense now, vehicles with huge C pillars are a little hazardous backing out of those angled parking spots. Unfortunately this guy isn't alone in his ignorance.
I had forgotten about those building (been 20-25yrs) but over half of em were filled with cars & trucks in em,same with the bunkers in G.I (north of Hastings) my first & second 55's came there,There was one with a Duesenberg speedster & a cut up Rolls Royce & another filled with 348,409 & hemi's with speed equipment from hell,Living in Nebraska was awesome for hunting parts!
Is Nebraska the new mecca of Barn Finds? This is a cool-ass story. It gets me to thinking of how many of these situations actually exist. They have to be getting few and far between. http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/auctions_details.php?detail=135&allimages=NO
A good point, but it's unlikely that person's much interested in bidding anyway. There does seem to be a good amount of buildable metal out there.
Parts of Nebraska have little ground moisture which means minimal rust for most cars. I bought my 1928 Model A there ... Great state for car hunting .... Jim
My 37 coupe was found beside a barn in Nebraska with grass up to the roof. Not a speck of rust was on it.
