  3. Thanks for the likes guys, I'm hoping the OP jumps on, and tells us what he did with his sign.

  4. Now I know where the proceeds from the '35 Chevy went! Glad to see it re-invested, will make the shed look incredible.

  5. The money from 35 sale, got me, my new back tires for the Hudson, I brought a new phone with a little better camera than the cheap two megapixel one I had, so my pics with be slightly less crappy, and the girls ate the rest of the cash. Haha.
I have a big weekend at work, so hopefully have some more cash to spend on the Hudson next week. I need to buy a wiper switch, and bleed brakes.

I'll put pics up of sign, working as soon as I pay for it, and get it on the back wall.
A cool side to this deal, is the seller has a Hot Rod truck, with a 37 Hudson grille, and is in the same Kiwi Hot Rod club, that Kiwikev is a member of.

Today is my 50th birthday, so this was my gift to myself.

    Looks good,
If I may ask, where did you get it made, or who made it for you ?
I can't imagine that it was an off the self item.
    Thanks.
    Clemens.

  10. It's from a place called Neon Effect from Cambridge.
The Owner, Martin is a hot Rodder, and member of a well known Auckland old school hot rod club.
Google them, I'm going to buy a neon clock as well. They have cool shit.

Happy 50th kiwijeff and your sign looks great. There's something about neons or is it that only old blokes like them??
I gather that Neon Effect made it specially for you? It really livens up your garage so there's no excuse not to go out and work there LOL

  12. Thanks Swifty.
This was part of their inventory, but they only stock one at a time.

Martin told me he would be getting their guy to make another.
    I told @hudson48 about them.
That big ol Hudson Custom would look great with some neon behind it.

  15. Cool sign! So last night I took a picture of an old Nash 015.jpg sign you may enjoy seeing. It's on an old dealership in our town. It had been painted over many times over the years. This year, a grandson restored the building, and its sign back to Its original condition. My cell phone didn't take the best pictures. 014.jpg I may try again later. Ron...
