This one will be easy for you Hamb experts.just found a nice complete Bendix front unit incl.everything fromupper 'A' arm to dust cover to install on the 50 hardtop .P.O had just replaced cylinders& shoes(new).I already have Bendix on rear since I installed a complete rear end from a '54 p-glide to get my 3.55 gears. The car stears and tracks beautiful .no play or wandering.Don't really want to swap out spindles.Question,Can I unbolt Huck backing plate, put Bendix plate, spacers, shoes, drums etc. or do I have to use spindles from '54?Also are the original wheel bearings interchangeable? Thanks to all,You guys are a great source of knowledge to 'Rookies' like me!

Go to www.droppedaxles.com, scroll down to Tech Articles, Chevy Spindles. This should help get you sorted out.

    Later, Kinky6
