It seems that glass must come out from top and inside. Can't figure out how to disengage lift arms from channel that glass is in. Does lift arm assembly need to be unbolted from door?

  2. Thought it just lifted - after a good tug - out of the window track. Thought that's what I did......funny thing is......the back 2 door tudor passenger window glass.....is the same as the 2 door tudor front door glass....

Finally got it out. Had to unbolt mechanism - then lower glass and mechanism into open area of door. Was then able to slide lift arms out of channel. Had to unbolt and remove large "slug" in center of channel. Then lift glass up and out the top. Much gnashing of teeth and hurling of oaths into the night air. Off to the glass shop in the AM. Original glass has been delaminating over the 30 years since I built the car.
