  2. Well shit! What the hell's wrong with that? I think it looks great. Kinda like the 58 Ford mesh in a Willys grill cavity. I'd like to see more on the mounting of it

I was thinking "kind of hillbilly" (not that there is anything wrong with that necessarily), until I saw the last few pictures and said to myself, "Damn! That looks pretty good!"

Thanks for posting the build pics!

I like it as well, giving me ideas for the ugly grille currently in my car.

You forgot to mention how your radiator is now protected from your dog's scratching paws!

Tried this last night myself. Looks nice! I have to wonder about durability, though. It's thin aluminum, so gonna have to be careful around it. Good budget!

Looks great! I will probably use this idea for my RPU when I get to that stage. The RPU is gonna be a shamrock green with gold engine, wishbones, etc so the gold insert will look great. I love the way your's turned out. Thanks for sharing!

Which is of course, the very essence of hot rodding.

    Looks great!

To me thats what hot rods and customs are all about-using your mind to make something from nothing to make it cool/stand out(tastefully though;))

Dammit Boy!!!! Ya dun good. Henry would be proud. Imagination like this is what makes rodding so great. IMHO, I would like to see how it would look w/a "Ford V-8" emblem in the right (or left) lower corner. Keep up the good work...

Would it have been possible to split the tube and insert the edge into it? I think it would look cleaner that way.
