so far, i removed all the leaf springs except 3 and put in 3" lowering blocks. i might de-arch the springs also. how else can i lower it in the back? lets hear your ideas!!
Ditto on the Posey springs. Removing leaves weakens the spring and causes problems such as the driveshaft hitting the floor under certain conditions.
If you have done this so far, I'd be real surprised if your driveshaft doesn't rub the tunnel when you drive it
i have only done the driver's side so far and it doesn't look like it lowered that much. doesn't the driveshaft go through the frame also? will it rub there to?
are you kidding ??? dude its not gonna work very well if you do just one side.... do the other side and i can almost gurantee itll be dragging the pavment.... also make sure you get shorter shocks and new bump stops
Oh it will lower it no problem...depending on what bags you use and the placement of the rear top mounts.. will determine just how low it will be....also you will most likley need to C-notch your frame. FYI ... can get pricey and not exactly a couple hour job....
Well, I would recommend talking with Alex of Gambino Customs, he set me up and put me on the right track. Typically the top mounts would go directly over your axle off the frame, but do some research before you go and start cutting.
