  1. The Mouse Magic stuff is not a poison . Actually smells good and not harmful. Smell keeps them out.

This post is timely- just this morning I found Decon pellets jammed in my workboots, little bastards. It's been 3-4 years since that's happened. My wife loves cats but is allergic. The bucket o' death is the only sure thing I've found.

On the advice from a poster on last season's mouse thread I tried Fresh Cab botanical repellent. Worked great. I got it at Big R store.

I decided to try Fresh Cab this winter after viewing videos and reading reviews but can't find it anywhere. I tried all the local "big box" hardware stores, Tractor Supply, etc. but no inventory. Couldn't find it on Amazon either. Are they still in business? There is a lot of Thomcat out there and glue traps and other miracle products but no Fresh Cab.

    I checked fresh cabs website
Www.earthkind.com and they gave a vague answer that it was pulled for review. They are offering a new product called stay away. They said fresh cab was being reformulated. It worked for me last year and I was ready to go back to Big R for a new box this year. I still have some left over and will use what's left.

They do work well if you use anti-freeze in the pail. Also, the dead mice don't seem to stink much if you just leave them in the anti-freeze. Just Don't pour it out where your dog or cat, etc. can get at the remains or the used anti-freeze because it will kill them also if they drink or eat the remains in the pail.
