    here is some pics o a channeled 32 3 window that was built back in the late 50's. i think these pics show how thw average guy built a hotrod then. we think this 3 window had a pontiac in it . 40 ford dash . aluminum firewall. enjoy the pics

    In 1975 I had a 32 5 widow that was set up much the same way but it was also chopped. It too was a late 50's early 60's hot rod
    Frame was Z'd about six inches in the rear. Body was channeled the depth of the frame rails. Top was chopped about three inches. Still set up for a flathead.
    Time came when circumstances forced me to sell it and the guy that bought it told me he was gonna turn it into a "real" hot rod like the you see in the magazines. This was in 1979-80, Street rod prime time.
    I still have regrets about selling that one.

    It must be a street rod because it has a dual master cyl.







    oh, wait a minute.., one side is da clutch :D :cool:

    Channelled? Bobbed horns? Chopped grill shell? No GUIDES?? How gauche. Thats not how traditional rods are build nowadays...:rolleyes:
