I design custom house plans. Trying hard not to participate in the recession. I'm often trying to dream of a way to have a business plan based on a showroom of HAMB-friendly retail products (car parts and novelties), house plan studio and coffee shop all wrapped up in one really groovy looking place with background 50s music always playing. Just a silly dream.

I'm a machinist for Northrop Grumman in their Boiler Water Circulation Pump Division. Pays okay, and having access to a full machine shop has its perks too!!

Was a utility construction manager for 30 years - now a utility construction programs consultant and am able to pick the projects I would like to work team with and am usually able to work the number of hours/days I choose. I am one of the very fortunate ones as far as that is concerned!!!

Well, I guess this is as good a place as any for my first REAL post here on the site.

I drive planes around for a living. No, I don't land them in the river.

  27. I got outa college and did several things and finally ended up in the family business as a real estate appraiser. Nothin to do with cars but I have seen a few HAMB syle cars out there in garages and shops! Like a fenderless 32 coupe (big block, etc) in a guys garage. Also a Willys coupe project just underway - wonder if it ever got finished? Did find a complete late 40's banjo rearend and front end out in the weeds behind this guys shop. I came back later and bought the stuff - now using it in our roadster project. These are always the most interesting people I meet!
